FAQ
Info around the postponement
The postponement of the 4th Nürburgring Classic to 2022 - to May 20-22, 2022 - will certainly raise some questions for fans and ticket holders, for which we would like to provide the most important answers here in a clear and concise manner.
Dear Fans, Teams, Guests, Participants, Helpers and Involved in the Nürburgring Classic 2021 We started the year 2021 very optimistic and had a super schedule with full starting fields, great grids, many event parts and a record number of registrations. Now we are very sad, just like many of you, that the current uncertain situation around the C-19 pandemic does not allow us to pursue scheduled and resilient steps for the safe staging of the Nürburgring Classic in 2021.
Currently, the Corona ordinances of the federal states do not allow large events with an audience and unfortunately we do not expect any opening steps from the next meetings of the Conference of Ministers-Presidents/MPK, which would give a quick opening and planning security as a perspective with the current infection events and the hesitant vaccination progress.
We regret very much to have to postpone the "4th Nürburgring Classic" to May 20 - 22, 2022, as the implementation of the Nürburgring Classic 2021 in the usual form is unfortunately not possible. The well-being of all visitors, participants, guests, partners, teams, clubs and fans is our top priority.
Together with you, we look forward to seeing you again in the next edition of the family-friendly "race event" from May 20 to 22, 2022 - and thus to the successful and atmospheric next edition and get-together at the legendary Nürburgring.
Please take care and stay healthy.
