For the first time in many years, the Grand Prix circuit in the shadow of the Nürburg will host two sprint races without pit stops over a race distance of 30 minutes each, normally one hour. So there will be plenty of action.
The Youngtimer Trophy celebrates its 25th anniversary with a large starting grid
When the Youngtimer Trophy was first held in 1993, the vehicles were indeed young. In the meantime, most of them have left the old-timer limit of 30 years behind them with dignity. Nevertheless, younger vehicles, such as DTM heroes like the BMW M3 and Mercedes 190 E, continue to freshen up the Trophy.

They are all young at heart, regardless of whether they are Audi 50s, VW Derbys, Opel Kadets or rear-engined heroes such as Simca or NSUs, not to mention Porsche 911s in a wide variety of years and versions. And they are in top shape, too, because this is not about show cruising that is easy on the material, here they race for time and, despite all the friendly spirit that characterises the Trophy, they fight hard.
Two sprint races as part of the Nürburgring Classic
The Nürburgring Classic is pleased to welcome a large number of the approximately 200 registered starters in the Youngtimer Trophy for the classification race in the Eifel. After more than 110 vehicles warmed up at the season opener in April at the Motodrom in Hockenheim, two sprint races will be held on the Grand Prix circuit as part of the Nürburgring Classic. Only a few days later, the ADAC 24h Classic will be on the agenda - finally, after two years, in front of a large audience on the wide circuit of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
