Next year, in 2023, we will again organise a separate round of the Golden Era Touring Cars as part of the Nürburgring Classic. On all three days of the event, the touring cars will be lined up on the Grand Prix circuit and otherwise in the Grand Prix paddock. 

A living reminder of glorious times

Between 1984 and 1995, German motorsport experienced truly golden years with the German Touring Car Championship. Hardly any manufacturer could safely avoid the series. Numerous homologation models also brought racing from the track to the road. The fans' identification with their brand and their vehicle was thus pushed into new spheres.

For years now, the classic touring cars of the late 70s to early 90s have been significant crowd pullers in the historic motorsport scene and thus naturally also belong in the Nürburgring Classic. We are looking forward to numerous registrations and will open the entry portal for participants as soon as possible. A separate announcement will be made on the website.
