Youngtimer Trophy

Over 30 years of the Youngtimer Trophy

Pure Racing with 100 vehicles in two attractive starting fields. Bookable with the series coordinators.

The enthusiasm and passion for the Youngtimer Trophy remain undiminished even after 30 years. With nearly 200 registered drivers, it is the most competitive historical racing series in Germany. Fans can experience a unique variety of motorsport from the 1970s and 1980s. Whether in the small NSU TT with its raised rear deck or in the mostly well-filled class of the Opel Kadett GT/E and Ford Escort RS 2000 Treter, there is fierce competition for the class victory.

Strong performance in Group 5

Among the fastest vehicles in the Youngtimer Trophy are the Porsche Group 5 cars that once made headlines in the German Touring Car Championship. The numerous BMW M3s that celebrated success in the DTM in the late 1980s are also often to be found in the front rows. The Youngtimer Trophy offers genuine off-road racing. A problem with the vehicle? No problem – in case of doubt, the competitor in the same class has the part you need and you can continue.

Sprint races without pit stops

On the Grand Prix track in the shadow of the Nürburgring, two sprint races of 30 minutes each are run without pit stops; normally one hour is spent on the track. There is therefore plenty of action to be enjoyed. Information for drivers, tenders, entries, bulletins and FIA regulations can be found on the series website.
