ADAC Nürburgring Classic
The Dwarves' Battle
Pure racing without the fuss of horsepower
Small cars of the 60s and 70s from brands such as Abarth, NSU, Mini, FIAT, Autobianchi, Steyr-Puch... Available for booking from the series coordinators.
They are full-fledged race cars, even if some only notice this on second glance: The small cars of the 1960s and 1970s have an extensive motorsport history. Today, they form an impressive starting field in the „War of the Dwarves“ on the mostly small wheels and are warmly welcome at the Nürburgring Classic.
Small heroes in historical motorsport are truly great
In June 2027, championship points will be fought for at the Nürburgring. With up to 50 Abarth, Autobianchi, DKW, Fiat, Mini, NSU or Steyr-Puch cars, the field in the Dwarf Challenge is among the most diverse offerings in historic motorsport.
Diversity in a confined space
Along the route, numerous small touring car classics come together – from Abarth to NSU and Mini, to Fiat, DKW and Steyr-Puch. With a large and diverse field of starters, the series is one of the most varied in historical motorsport.
What makes the „Zwerge“ special is not only their diversity, but above all their racing character: close duels, wind-shield duels and daring maneuvers characterize the picture. The comparatively low performance is more than offset by the low weight and maximum effort of the drivers – the best prerequisites for thrilling motorsport on equal terms.
