The historic driver's garage at the Nürburgring is home to extraordinary race and sports cars from the early decades of motorsport.
Between the original preserved boxes and the buildings from 1927, a backdrop is created that is part of racing history itself. Here, where the first major races were once prepared at the Nürburgring, automobiles from that era that have profoundly shaped motorsport stand today.
Automobiles from the pioneering era of racing
The focus is on pre-war vehicles and early racing cars from a wide variety of brands and types. Lightweight sports cars meet powerful racing machines, elegant touring cars with uncompromisingly constructed competition vehicles. Many of these automobiles tell their own story – from legendary brands and drivers to the technical developments that defined the racing of the 1920s and 1930s.
Historical vehicles in their original environment
The special thing about Nürburgring Racing Origins is the connection between the vehicle and the location. The old pits, the historic driver's camp, and the immediate proximity to the race track create an atmosphere that is hardly found at modern motorsport events. In addition, there are excursions to the Nürburgring race tracks and through the Eifel, where the historic automobiles are not only on display but also take on their original purpose.
