From the pre-war vehicles to the FHR series, the Battle of the Dwarves, the Golden Era touring cars, the Boss GP formula cars, the Youngtimer Trophy and the one-make clubs, everyone will be there. On Saturday evening, there will be live music to celebrate. The anticipation for 24 - 26 May is growing.
Monoposti from the smallest classes to Formula 1
The Boss GP Racing Series and Historic Monoposto Racing bring concentrated formula racing action to the Nürburgring Classic. In the junior series of the 60s and 70s, the battle for places is just as exciting as in the "fastest racing series in Europe". The Boss GP brings together everything that has been on the road in the world's top classes in recent decades. In addition to the premier class Formula 1, Formula 2, IndyCar, World Series by Renault and A1 GP are also on the grid.
FHR racing series with a new name
What started last year as "Dunlop Gentle Drivers '65" will now be known as the Historic Championship '65 or "HC-65" for short from 2024. The vehicles that are still used here are true classics. Each car is a symbol of a bygone era of motorsport, when racing was still a question of skill and courage and not dominated by technology. You can look forward to Mercedes-Benz gullwings as well as lightweight Lotuses or Jaguars with their endlessly long bonnets.
90 minutes race duration incl. mandatory pit stop in the HC-81
The second FHR series to compete in the Nürburgring Classic is the "HC-81". In the past, this could be found in the schedule as the "Dunlop Historic Endurance Cup". However, the exciting and full starting fields will remain. With around 100 drivers registered, the world's largest historic endurance series will once again showcase racing at its finest - marvellous racing cars from the 1960s to the early 1980s will be battling for positions and class victories in high-performance classes. Numerous historic racing cars and teams will be at the start.
