From 12 to 14 June 2026, the Nürburgring Classic will open its doors once again – promising a motorsport festival of superlatives. Historic racing cars, thrilling races on several tracks, spectacular demonstrations, brand club meetings and an extensive supporting programme with live music, a Ferris wheel and fireworks will ensure an unforgettable weekend for the whole family.
Boss GP Racing Series – Thunderous high-performance formula cars up close
The Boss GP Racing Series brings some of Europe's fastest and most powerful formula racing cars to the Nürburgring. Big open single-seaters – from former Formula 1 cars to high-performance formula cars – deliver pure thrills. Visitors can experience the cars up close during the grid walk before they hit the track at full speed.
Touring cars of the "Golden Era" – legends of the racetrack
The Golden Era Touring Cars take spectators back to the days when DTM, DRM, STW and ETCC cars made motorsport history. A huge starting field of iconic racing cars and the opportunity to take a grid walk create an authentic touring car atmosphere reminiscent of the glorious 1980s and 1990s.
Vintage Meeting – Classic motorsport in a historic setting
The Vintage Meeting is a journey back to the early days of the Nürburgring. In the historic paddock, visitors encounter pre-war and early post-war vehicles that bring the spirit of earlier motorsport eras to life. During the grid walk and the elephant race with its classic Le Mans start, fans can experience the charm of these automotive treasures up close.
Historic F3 1000cc European Trophy – The return of the "Screamers"
For the first time since 2014, the Historic F3 1000cc European Trophy is returning to the Nürburgring with its high-revving "screamer" engines. In addition to qualifying and racing on the Grand Prix circuit, fans can look forward to a special highlight: on Saturday, 13 June, the series will complete exclusive demo laps on the Nordschleife – an emotional moment for drivers and spectators alike.
Lurani Trophy / Formula Junior – Jewels of historic formula racing
Die Lurani Trophy präsentiert Formel-Junior-Wagen aus der Pionierzeit des Formelsports (1958–1963) und bringt an international starting field at the Nürburgring. Technically fascinating and historically significant, the vehicles showcase the development of formula series across engine position, chassis technology and early monocoque concepts. This series will also be represented in 2026 with demo laps on the Nordschleife on Saturday, 13 June – one of the highlights of the weekend.
