We yes: 3 days Nordschleife is there! To all enthusiasts and fans, visitors of the time travel "Nürburgring Classic" and to all friends of the great historic motorsport meeting from June 15 - 17, 2018.: The current schedule (version 03/2018) is published.
As the only event in historic racing, the Nürburgring Classic has again on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the race tracks "Grand Prix Course" and "Nordschleife" available for the racing series. The legendary green hell beckons! And we can offer a full dose from the long asphalt ribbon over the Eifel mountains!
DTM cars return to the Nordschleife
The DTM cars of the 80s are coming back - and after 1993... that is, after 25 years - these bolides of the "Tourenwagen Classics" are racing again for the first time on the Nordschleife. Many drivers from back then have already announced their participation.
In addition, there will be "something for the ears" when the Can Am - the Canadian American Challenge - returns to the Ring together with the Interserie. The break without the mighty Lolas and McLaren M8C and Porsche 917 etc. was much too long.
There is something for everyone
Hobby drivers compete in the numerous GLPs / regularity runs on the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. Porsche 356, 912, 911 race for the Herbert Linge Pokal. The pre-war drivers meet in the old paddock to revive the image of the opening years since 1927 in the Elephant Race (with Le Mans start) and in extended Nordschleife laps.
Getting a taste of racing air up close
18 race and special runs, close-up decorated paddocks, paddocks of the series, open pit garages and a supporting program attract from 15 - 17 June 2018 at the Nürburgring. Many gridwalks - the opportunity to go on the grid and get a close-up view of the racing action yourself - this is also uniquely possible only at the Nürburgring Classic.
A big "get together"
Who can not actively drive, can come with the classic as a visitor: In the Eifel village there is the big "get together" of the clubs with its own large paddock around parking; with gastronomy and "meet & greet".
Those who want to ride along themselves can do so - even without competition - in the two Experience-Runs. Tickets are now available at a reduced price in advance.
