Germany's biggest racing series, the "Kampf der Zwerge" (Battle of the Dwarves), has been doing the rounds on various European circuits since 1992. At the Nürburgring Classic, it kicks off the event with the first qualifying session on Friday morning. The highlights are then the races on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Kampf der Zwerge - Germany's largest racing series

The variety in the packed starting fields is what makes it so appealing. Likeable small and micro cars from "bygone" times battling for positions and the racing line - it is simply a mixture that can only inspire. Spectators can look forward to fair racing action. The drivers and teams alone make the paddock a lively place with a cheerful and friendly atmosphere.

Abarth Coppa Mille - Attractive motorsport at a favourable price

The Abarth Coppa Mille is a fascinating group of vehicles in the "Kampf der Zwerge". It captures the hearts of fans with its small but powerful racing cars. Vehicles such as the Fiat Abarth 1000 TCs, the Autobianchi A112 and the Fiat 127 compete here, delivering impressive performance with an engine capacity of just over one litre. These cars are not only fast, but also technical masterpieces of their time. Most of the racing cars in the Abarth Coppa Mille date back to the 1960s and 1970s and thrill both participants and spectators alike.

The British Car Trophy - A tribute to the Mini Cooper

In the British Car Trophy, which is held in the battle of the midgets, one car takes centre stage: the Mini Cooper. This legendary car has a long history in motorsport and is still a favourite on the racetrack today. With its characteristic design and impressive performance, the Mini Cooper has captured the hearts of many motorsport fans. The British Car Trophy provides a platform for drivers and teams to compete while celebrating the tradition and heritage of the Mini Cooper.

NSU TT Trophy and 1300 Histo-Cup - classics of historic motorsport

The NSU TT Trophy and the 1300 Histo-Cup are two more exciting racing series at the Dwarfs that showcase the diversity of historic motorsport. The NSU TT Trophy features the legendary NSU TTs that once caused a furore in hill climb and slalom races. This racing series pays homage to a bygone era of motorsport and attracts fans of classic racing cars.

The 1300 Histo-Cup, on the other hand, presents a wide range of touring car classics such as the Fiat 128, the Simca Rallye and the Renault Gordini. These small touring cars with a maximum displacement of 1300 cc are the crowd favourites at every historic motorsport event and show that even small cars can deliver great performances. Dating back to 1974, both series offer an exciting journey into the past of motorsport and demonstrate the timeless fascination of classic racing cars.
