Nürburgring, 14 June 2026 – For three days, the Nürburgring was all about historic motorsport. The ADAC Nürburgring Classic 2026 attracted a total of 23,000 spectators to the Eifel region from 12 to 14 June, impressively confirming its status as one of Europe’s most significant historic motorsport festivals.

 

Historic racing, legendary cars and a unique festival atmosphere are set to make the Nürburgring Classic 2026 a resounding success.

On the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife, visitors enjoyed a weekend packed with excitement, motorsport history and fascinating cars spanning almost a century of racing. Numerous racing series, demonstration runs, regularity trials and special events ensured a varied programme both on and off the track. Highlights included the touring cars of the ‘Golden Era’, the spectacular cars of the Boss GP Series, historic formula racing cars, and numerous club and brand presentations.

A weekend full of excitement, the roar of engines and a glimpse into history

In particular, the relaxed atmosphere in the paddocks, the opportunity to get up close to the drivers and cars, and the wide variety of racing and road cars once again made the event a special experience for motorsport fans of all ages. The sporting programme was complemented by an extensive supporting programme featuring live music, exhibitions, a Ferris wheel and numerous activities for the whole family.

The Nürburgring Classic stands not only for the preservation of automotive heritage, but also for the vibrant connection between the past and present of motorsport. Vehicles from a wide range of eras offered spectators a unique auditory and driving experience, allowing them to experience the fascination of historic racing technology first-hand.

 

After the 2026 Nürburgring Classic comes the anniversary year of 2027

With the successful conclusion of the 2026 Nürburgring Classic, attention is already turning to next year. The Nürburgring will then continue its major ‘Road to 100’ anniversary celebrations, further building anticipation for the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary in 2027.
